Get Involved in a Mission that Will Change Lives — Including YOURS!

What makes Habitat’s mission unique? You do! Volunteer opportunities make it possible for thousands of people to get active in our community and make a difference in the lives of children and families. Building a new home (or a remodel) takes time and money, but seeing a family get the keys to a home you helped build is inspiring. Come out and volunteer. Come make a difference!

You can become a volunteer with our A Brush with Kindness program, Women Build, Veterans Build or in our ReStore; located at 2340 N. Orange Blossom Trail Kissimmee, FL 34744

Youth Volunteers (17 or younger)
If you are under 18 years of age, complete the Youth Volunteer Response Form. You’ll need a parent or guardian signature. Mail or fax the completed form to the Habitat Office. If you are under the age of 14, a parent or guardian will need to volunteer and be present with you during all volunteer activities.  You will be notified when your form has been processed allowing you to complete the volunteer sign-up.

Groups & Team-Building
Building together builds lasting memories. Group opportunities range from a commitment of just one day to a commitment of completing an entire house. Your group can make a big impact and help address the need for decent housing, while providing a rewarding volunteer experience.

  • Contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Set a date and complete the Group Information Form.
  • Begin recruiting. We can accommodate 6 to 20 volunteers.
  • Individuals in the group must complete the Volunteer Sign-Up.

Non-Construction Opportunities
Volunteers are needed for special projects like mailings and events. By completing the volunteer sign-up you will get special volunteer opportunities delivered directly to your inbox. Have other thoughts or ways you would like to help? Contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Habitat Osceola ReStore sells donated building materials, appliances and household furniture to the public.  All proceeds from the ReStore go toward the construction/renovation of more Habitat homes.  Volunteers are needed to clean donated goods, arrange displays and help customers.

Volunteer Safety Training
We encourage all volunteers to take an online safety training courses. They are quick and easy, and a good way to learn about safety on a construction site. There are several training courses to choose from – we recommend that the “Fall Safety” and “Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Job Site” courses be completed before the first day of volunteering.
